After being dropped off, Indiana bounded excitedly to the sound of water. He was thirsty on the trip here and decided that the first thing that he wanted to do was to get a drink of water. He saw that there was a small cliff and he wondered how to get there. It would be a waste of energy if he had walked there only to see the cliff stopping him. Slowly, he lowered himself down the cliff and when he thought that he found a ledge, he fell down. Panic overcame him and he let out a yelp as he fell down. Luckily, the rocks below blocked his impact to the icy cold water. He frowned, not a good start in this new place, he thought. Then he slowly got up and found that only a few bruises were there. Luckily, he thought, I can still walk. The cold air blew past him, but that didn't affect him. He turned to the water and began to drink. The water felt refreshing and everything suddenly felt better. He rested for a while and waited for his energy to be restored. After that, he stood back up and pondered of how to climb back up. He a slope at the edge of the cliff and walked toward, it and for the first time, he noticed the birds. There were so many. They walked or flew away at his arrival and he didn't feel hungry, so he walked on. He now had a new goal, to find a pack to join. He could start fresh now and hoped to finally find a pack.

Lakota saw the male wolf tumble and trip down the edge of the cliff, and rushed over to see if he was ok. She peaked over the edge, and saw him drinking. Damn idiot. she thought, when she saw him guzzling down sea water. Lakota laughed a little though, as she had always found it amuzing that the lull of water could blind someone from the danger of drinking salt water.
Lakota followed a little game trail that was left in the snow, and made her way down to where this new wolf was. She wasn't a pack wolf...not yet anyway. She was too much of a loose cannon for pack life. She wasn't afraid to be dominant, so she held a dominate pose when she neared the wolf. After a less than pleasant encounter with a male wolf, she had dived that she was going to act like the alpha she was meant to be.
"Hey! Why don't we go get you some fresh water to drink instead of this water. It might be good now, but not long from now you'll need to be getting water again." She laughed, calling from about ten feet away.

Indiana kept walking and thinking to himself when he heard a noise. He stopped dead in his tracks, it sounded like, walking. It could have been anything, but he was sure it was another wolf. He started to run, running to the sound of walking. I did it! He thought, overjoyed he had found one of his own again. Then a voice yelled at him and said that they should get water now, before he gets thirsty again. He was first confused if he was hearing things, but then he decided that he would just keep trying to find the owner of the voice. The voice was feminine and he wondered why she hadn't asked. She just commanded him right away. Indiana looked around him and kept turning in circles, until he looked up and saw the wolf standing on a cliff above. She laughed at him, but he was too happy to be upset at that moment. He shouted "Be right there!" and he ran off to find the area where the cliff sloped down. Then he turned around to run to the other wolf, he was happy. Maybe a bit too happy because he almost ran into her and had to skid to stop himself, but he made it. He panted "What's your name? I'm Indiana." He, he had observed her, after a long time of seeing another wolf, he was happy to see the wolf. Was she alone too? He thought. Maybe she wasn't, he hoped to stay with another wolf so he wouldn't be alone again.
OOC: Sorry I haven't been on a lot. I had homework. Sorry:(

"Hi, Indiana. I'm Lakota, pleasure to meet you." She said kindly when the male wolf was next to her. "Sorry about yelling at you back there. That water you were drinking was salt water, and it might seem fine, but the slag makes you thirstiest." The female explained, walking ahead. She held her dominant stance, but she could sense that this male wasn't going to give her trouble. He was too...happy. But the female liked that. It wasn't often she was treated fairly because of her gender, and she was glad that this Indiana had some respect for females. Or at least that was what she was going to believe until he proved her otherwise.
"Lucky you ran into me." She started, a smile spread across her face. She was generally happy as well. "I'm pretty familiar with these parts. Some freshwater should be just through this forest."

Indiana smiled at Lakota as she introduced herself. She apologized for yelling at him, but she didn't need too. She said that the water was saltwater and it would make him thirsty again. Oh, he thought, I guess I was too thirsty. He was really thirsty after the trip. Lakota said that he was lucky that he ran into her and that she knew the place well. There was also freshwater through the forest. He said "Thank you, I'm new here." It was very nice that Lakota would help him out, even if he was a stranger. He was glad that now he found a companion to go with, it finally happened. He was starting to get thirsty again, but it didn't really matter to him. All that mattered would be the fact that he had somebody to be with.

Lakota smiled back at the male. She wanted to laugh when he said he was new to these parts, but she knew it was wrong, so she just said "oh?" Politely. And who knows? Maybe it would spark some conversation. Lakota had a feeling that all the wolves on this island were moved because she hadn't met a wolf that was native to the island. The two trudged quietly through the snow, with the sound of the surf now far behind them. Lakota saw a rabbit move in the bushes in front of them. "Are you hungry? She asked, getting ready to make a kill. Regardless to what he was going to say, Lakota sprang forward, and got her teeth on the animal in one quick, fluid motion. She had been hunting rabbits sense she was a young pup, and she had become extraordinarily skilled at catching them. She walked back, and dropped the gray rabbit at his feet. "You never told me your name." She laughed, offering the rabbit. She wasn't hungry.

Indiana wondered if Lakota knew about the project that Indiana heard from the humans when he was being moved. He would ask her that later, for now, Lakota replied with an "Oh". They started to walk through the snow toward the other source of water. Indiana never really had gotten the chance to look at the scenery much. He looked at tall snow covered trees and the dead grass until he heard bushes rustling in front of them. He stopped suddenly and Lakota asked if he was hungry. He opened his mouth to answer, but before he could, she jumped forward with impossible speed and caught the animal in the bushes. She came back and he saw it was a rabbit. He was hungry after a long journey and his stomach growled at the sight of the rabbit. Lakota offered him the rabbit and told him that he never told his name. "Oh, I didn't yet? I guess I wasn't used to everything yet. Oh well, I'm Indiana." He took the rabbit but then stopping himself to say "You don't want any? It was your kill after all and you do hunt well."

Lakota tossed the name around in her head wile she was matching faces. Suddenly, she made a connection between her father and Indiana. They looked almost identical. But Lakota knew it was her dad, because he was long dead. They was no chance that Indiana and she were related either, because her only surviving relative was long lost in Montana, far away from her. All this aside, Indiana made her smile. He was polite and asked if she wanted it, but shook her head no and pushed the kill closer. She had eaten the day before, and this male needed it more than she did. Smiling, she offered it, hoping that he wasn't too prideful, and would eat it as a gift, not a form of pity. By the sound of water quietly hitting a bank, the dark female knew that they were close to the lake. How knows, maybe Lakota would end up taking this male on a tour of the hole island.

Indiana looked at the rabbit as she pushed it closer, Lakota shook her head, but Indiana still wasn't sure if he would take it. It would be rude if I didn't accept a gift, he thought. With that, he took the rabbit and ate it. He felt back to normal and his stomach didn't send any more complaints. "Thank you." He said "Honestly I was hungry." He smiled ,again, at Lakota. She was very nice and generous, he wondered why she was alone, but was afraid to ask. Then he heard water near by and he started to feel thirsty again. He hoped that after he got to the lake, she wouldn't leave him. He knew that it sounded selfish, but he didn't want to be alone again. He knew that it was also highly unlikely that they would meet each other again or that he would meet someone like Lakota.
