Sicarius was standing outside of his den, he was happy to see all of the packs are working, and he went back inside his den. He was thinking about this pack's development. The members of this pack are few, the pack needs more members to survive the weather, the natural disaster, and other threat. He must prepare this pack for everything that will come. He went out, and the sunlight hit his face. He was planning to examine the pack's condition. He went side to side, and he was wondering, where is Lakota. Sicarius also wanted to meet Whisper, one of his favorite members.

Lakota was a wonderer, and she knew she had troubles staying put. But today, she must have bugged someone, because a patrol was now matching her to the pack's camp. why didn't they just kill me...I am trespassing After all. She asked herself, and she lifted her tail to avoid it getting nipped by one of the guards. She observed the rocks, and trees, and the snow on the ground. That's when she remembered how cold it was. She stepped carefully as she neared what she assumed to be the alpha's den. Dammit. She whispered, as she was instructed to sit and wait for the alpha to appear.

"Well, You brought her to me, good job" said Sicarius to the guards. "LAKOTA!! Where have you been" said Sicarius with his rough growl. "This pack needs more members, and we're lack of food. Well, did you want to lead the hunters?" said Sicarius. "I wanted to see how you managed or lead a group in this open and dangerous forest. Take some hunters and go!" said Sicarius. Sicarius went back inside. He went outside again to say something, "And don't forget, STAY AWAY FROM THE TOWN". "I think i changed my mind, i need to do something, i will take some guards with me, we need to teach some members" said Sicarius. "Now, Go, Lakota. Show me what you got"

"Fine" Lakota grumbled, as she turned tail, and walked in the direction of the hunting grounds. She mumbled as she passed the guards, and went to gather her hunters. She was no alpha, but the current alpha was testing her, to see if she could be in his pack. And, by the look of things, Lakota was thinking she was failing. A wonderer isn't meant to be tied down. Once she had her hunters together, she led them on the game trails to the hunting grounds, which didn't seem to have any life whatsoever. But, the the sweet smell of blood filled Lakota's nostrils. An injured elk. My lucky day. It seemed as though something tried to attack the animal, but wasn't strong enough, and left it to succumb to the elements, or just die.
Lakota licked her lips, and began breaking the elk down. A nip here, a bite there. Then add that to the bits and nips of two other wolves, and dinner was served. Once the animal fell, Lakota lifted her head, and howled, notifying the rest of the pack that they had killed something. Lakota wasted no time spilling the guts, and taking what she could.

While Sicarius talking to some members, he heard a howl. "She did it, nice" said Sicarius. He went back to the alpha den, and wait there. He waits for her to return, what could she bring for the pack, a small prey or a big prey. Sicarius was licking his lips, and his mind full of meat. He heard the pack coming, he went outside and saw the Lakota's group coming. He was happy to see, she was carrying an elk meat. "Nice one, she's a good wolf for this pack". She is quite good, maybe she could be the Alpha female.

Lakota couldn't help but fell a twing of pride on her kill. It was quite an accomplishment, because she was secretly deft in her left ear. This was the biggest prey she had ever taken down. As she and her group entered the camp, she dragged the carcass of the animal to where everyone could see it. She hadn't been in a pack in a while, and was unsure of the edict. Normally, she would take what she could, and then make a break for it, but she had a feeling that was the wrong thing to do, seeing as she had already spilled the insides. After the female placed the kill, she stepped away, and let the others eat. She shot a glance up to Sicarius, as she turned and started in the way back to the wild. She was testing him, now. If She was really valuable, he would follow.

Sicarius noticed that Lakota leaves without eating the meats, he bit some meats and held it with his jaws. He followed Lakota into the wild. He was wondering why Lakota didn't eat any meat. Is there something she hides? As they entered the wild deeper, the sunlight hit his face, and he couldn't see the way. He lost Lakota, but he tried to search for her, and finally, he found her."Lakota" shout Sicarius. "Where are you going", "why don't you take any meats with you". "Here take this". Sicarius put the meat on the ground and hand it over to Lakota.

Lakota walked in the white haze, the snow's reflection was almost blinding, but the dark brown female knew where she was going. The voice of the alpha male filled her ears, and she smiled quickly before turning to face him. They had the same yellow eyes, though his seemed to be filled with more life. She looked at the ground, as the male passed some meat. She wasn't hungry, but ate it anyway, to avoids looking ungrateful. When she finished, she thanked him. Before she turned to walk away, she asked if he would care to join her on a walk.

Sicarius follows Lakota, he was confused with her. What she's trying to tell? He walked beside her, Sicarius walked with a confused mind, thinking about the current situation. "Hmm.. Lakota", "Is there something you hide or you wanted to say". They pass the forest even the cold weather make Sicarius freezing. "This stupid weather" said Sicarius. "So, what you wanted to tell me, and also, we need to return to the pack". Sicarius always hate this cold weather. But, he will stay strong until Lakota tells him something. "Wait, I need to stop first" said Sicarius. He thinks better to stop, and listen to her. Because if they continue walking, they will leave the pack territory.

Lakota just laughed dryly, and stepped over the imaginary line that marked his pack's territory, and her home. "Here is where you and I split, I guess." She stated, as she turned to face him. Sicarius was easily double her weight, big and brawny. But she stood proud. The life of a loner was interesting. She was torn between her instincts, and her heart's desire. She wanted to be with a pack, but something kept pulling her away. "Look, don't take it personally. I can't stay put, and wile all this seemed nice, a home, A Family..." She said, a slight sadness in her voice. "I can't do it. Not yet, anyway."

Sicarius was surprised to hear it, "You can't leave, you're a great wolf, this pack need you.". "Your hunting skills are amazing, and you could be someone important for this pack". If you decided to leave, it will give you a hard time. The cold weather, and also you'll be vulnerable to predators and other animals. Those humans are dangerous, wolves live in the pack. Because when they're in a pack, they're stronger than anything. Wolves are one, we live as a pack, and we die as a pack.". We could give you a place to sleep, where it's safe. No one will disturb you, sleeping.

"Look..." She began, before trailing off, ending her word with a slight sigh. Her breath looked life little puffs of smoke, and she looked up, her yellow eyes shaking. "Do you see these scars?" Lakota asked, knowing that he must have noticed them, as scars like here's were pretty hard to miss. The scar tissue was a pink color, very distinct against her dark brown coat. "They are my only memory of pack life." She didn't really know where she was gong with her little story, but maybe he would get the idea that she had had bad experiences with being a pack wolf.
The sun was beginning to dip behind the mountains, and the trees were casting their dark shadows as night began to come. She shivered a little as a cool gust of wind ruffled her coat, and noticed how war, and welcoming Sicarius's eyes were. Family...

Look, sorry to see your scar, and where you get it. But, I will make sure that thing will not happen again, so are you joining or not". It's dark now, we need to go back, but I think I can't force you to stay or not, it's up to you. I'm heading back to the camp, would you like to join me? Ah, the dark creatures coming, and they'll begin searching for foods. Hmm, Well, the wild serve great food for them. Especially, wolves. Sicarius grinned to the Lakota, the moonshine reflect from his white sharp teeth. Sicarius walked toward the camp, and waiting for Lakota to join.

Even though it was winter, and the sun only shine for an hour or so, Lakota knew that its was time to find shelter for the night. "I'll go with you tonight, but there is no guarantee that I'm staying, deal?" Lakota asked, rushing to his side. She felt strangely comfortable there. His strong muscles, yet soft eyes, seemed to make her feel safe. Lakota walked quietly by his side, deep in thought. Her stride was long, so she was getting a little ahead of Sicarius. She didn't remember exactly where the camp was, but she did know what it smelled like. Even still, she stuck close to the male.

Sicarius walked slowly, Lakota looks like she was in a hurry toward the camp. They were far enough from the camp, because they were almost at the edge of their territory. The Cold Wind shook Sicarius's body. This Wind, I hate it. Better to get hurry, follow me Lakota. I'll lead us toward the camp, we ran. Wolves are capable to see in the dark, Sicarius ran passing the tress, and sometimes, he looks back to see if Lakota chases him. After 1 minutes running, they was arrived at the camp. Finally, here is the camp. The camp looks warm, the packs were sitting together to keep warm.
